At Puerto Quetzal Guatamala I was able to get internet at a pavilion at the cruise port for $5 for 30 minutes. I asked the guy how much it would be an hour and he said he would give me an inside deal of $8 for 60 minutes. The company is called Pacific Communications. Not cheap but too bad compared to 75 cents a minute on the cruise ship.
