As of May of 2015, this was the TV/cable channel lineup from aboard the NCL Star cruise ship. In parenthesis I put down some notes regarding each station:

  • 02 to 04, 07, 24 & 25 - Music (blank screen, easy-listening music in the background)

  • 05 - Port & Shopping Channel/FTV (advertising channel)

  • 06 - Shore Excursions & Cruise Rewards

  • 08 - Onboard Events

  • 09 - Freestyle Information

  • 10 - Safety Information

  • 11 - Navigation General Announcements/PA Feed (this was the most useful channel as it showed the outdoor conditions/temperature)

  • 12 - Bow Camera

  • 13 - Engage Network (fashion)

  • 14 - MSNBC (news channel)

  • 15 - CNBC (financial news)

  • 16 - Fox News (it never had signal)

  • 17 - BBC (rarely had signal)

  • 18 - Sports24 (no signal most of the time, and if it did the video was very pixelated)

  • 19 - ESPN Caribbean (same situation as Sports 24)

  • 20 - TV shows (never had any signal)

  • 21 - Movies Channel 1 (rarely any feed)

  • 22 - Movies Newer Releases (this one had strong signal and had many newer movies)

  • 23 - Bloomberg financial news channel

I must say that the lineup was pretty average, but the fact that half the channels were unwatchable made this one of the worst in-room television watching experiences we have encountered in our 20+ cruises.
