Windstar Cruises has completed a comprehensive transformation of the Wind Star, the first of its three Wind-class yachts to finish the multi-year Setting Sails refurbishment initiative. The project, conducted at Navantia's shipyard in Cadiz, Spain, involved a two-phase upgrade focusing on public spaces and guest accommodations. Following these updates, the yacht has officially resumed service with a Mediterranean itinerary. The remaining ships in the class, Wind Surf and Wind Spirit, are scheduled for their own final updates later this year and in early 2027.
