We were curious when we could enter our stateroom on embarkation day aboard the Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas. Along with eating lunch, getting to the cabin is always one of our first objectives. After waiting at the cruise port terminal, having to likely wake up early or just come in from the airport on a flight, you just want to drop off the carry-on luggage to room. And also perhaps to just lay down and rest a bit, chill out before the mandatory drill and sail-away party.
On the state of the art ship Oasis, we thought perhaps upon boarding after noon time, we could get aboard, but that was not the case. We were not really sure until we saw the sign (see photo below). In many languages, it states that the cabins would not ready until 1:00 PM, and attempts to get into the hallway to perhaps sneak in early were futile as the cabin hallway doors were closed. We were in a balcony stateroom, so it is possible for a suite the time you get to enter is different, but it's probably unlikely.
No a big deal as the massive ship had a wealth of places to hangout before that time.
