NCL Sodas & Ultimate Beverage Program

On Norwegian Cruise Line Ships, you can participate in a program that will provide you with all-you-can-drink soda soft drinks at a flat fee. The pricing is different for adults and kids (between 0 and 12 yeas-old).

Anyone 14 or over is charged the adult price, which is $6.50/daily plus 15% automatic gratuity a day, which translates to $52.33 over the span of a typical 7 night cruise. Children 13 and under play $2 less @ $4.50 daily, which comes out to $36.22 for the week.

The soft drinks available include Pepsi (& diet), Sierra Mist (+ diet), Mountain Dew, Ginger Ale, Club Soda and Tonic water. No Coke brand products, unfortunately for coke fans.

This NCL package of course does not include anything of the alcoholic variety, nor specialty coffee drinks. If you are interested in their Ultimate Drinks Package, however, that would cover house wine, beer, and cocktails by the glass. That is $59 a day, and you have to be over the age of 21. An interesting limitation is that this package is not available between March 1 and April 15 (the Spring Break period).

If you are just interested in soft drinks, beer and wine (no cocktail or spirits), they have a program called Cork and Caps which is $44/daily.
