NCL Star Mexico Cruise Blog Day 8 - Disembarkation - December 20, 2008

Today was disembarkation day. We ordered room service for breakfast but they didn't bring the omelet we ordered. We decided to take our time and left the ship at around 9:30. After getting off the gangway we were surprised to find out that all we had to do is turn in the customs paperwork. There was no ID check or scanning of any bags. We simply found our luggages and walked out. This was by far a much faster process than our previous cruises at the Long Beach cruise terminal (Carnival) and in Miami (NCL).
Here's a tip for those of you a friend and family member to pick you up- DO NOT have them park in the parking area of the Los Angeles Cruise Terminal unless you want to wait over an hour to get out of the parking lot. That's what happened to us, unfortunately, and there was a $2 parking fee to add insult to injury.
