Curacao & Willemstad Photos & Pictures
This album features photos and pictures of the island of Curacao with a focus on the city of Willemstad. The pictures were taken on a walking tour. You can find pics of the famous Queen Emma Bridge and many other areas near the cruise port area.
While Willemstad delights with cultural & historic sights, just a few minutes outside of the city are spectacular natural vistas such as Christoffel National Park (with 4500+ acres), Curacao's largest conservation area with lengthy hiking trails.
Shete Boke National Park has white beaches that nestle against a rocky volcanic coastline where you can often see sea turtles laying eggs in the sand.
As you can see in some of these photos, Curacao is famous for its warm turquoise waters, bountiful marine life & amazing coral reefs. Underwater visibility can be over 100 feet, making some consider snorkeling and scuba diving here as some of the best on the planet.
