Venice Cruise Port Transportation Info, Tips & Pictures
This photo gallery of the cruise terminal area of Port of Venice was from our recent Mediterreanean cruise aboard the Norwegian Spirit, which had just came from Istanbul. These pictures are meant to give you an idea of your transportation options there, which include:
1. Car taxi to the Marco Polo Airport, Venice city center, or Piazzale Roma station
2. Alilaguna Vaporetta (public water bus shuttle) directly from the port to St. Mark's Square
3. Walking to the nearby People Mover station just outside port, and taking it to Piazzale Roma. Once there you can take the public Water Taxi up the Grand Canal to St. Mark's Square.
