Radim Zenkl put on an enjoyable performance with the mandolin and a variety of flutes. Some of the the most interesting parts of the show included his use of 2 picks to enable a background accompaniment, the gigantic funky 6 foot flute, and the flute with no holes. With that latter flute, Zenkl was still able to perform a melody with 5 different notes. This was an entertaining show indeed, especially if you are into blue grass and folk music. It was educational as well as he gave some background into each instrument and some history of the mandolin. The Stardust Theater was pretty much half empty, however, for his performance.
