It is my pleasure to write you today as the newly appointed president of Royal Caribbean International.
Some of you may already know me, from my recent position at Celebrity Cruises, or from over 30 years at Royal Caribbean. From my start with the company onboard Nordic Prince in 1981, the culture of innovation, sense of adventure, commitment to excellence, and guest satisfaction have been our company's top priorities. It's those same principles that continue to propel us today toward new milestones. I couldn't be more excited to take the helm of such a wonderful cruise line at such a remarkable time.
I wanted to take a moment to get acquainted and to express my utmost gratitude to you for your loyalty and dedication to our brand. As members of the Crown & Anchor Society program, you can be sure that we will continue to give you the recognition and benefits you deserve, as well as that perfect blend of adventure and discovery, refinement and comfort that is unrivaled by any other cruise line.
On the heels of our most technologically advanced ship to date, Quantum of the Seas, we are thrilled with the arrival of her sister ship Anthem of the Seas this spring. And, let me take this opportunity to confirm to you first and officially, that our third Oasis Class ship will be named Harmony of the Seas which will be delivered in April 2016. Both of these incredible ships will continue to set the bar for the industry.
There is only more to come. I would like to announce that I will be hosting a President's Cruise in 2016. I invite you to join me on this first-of-a-kind cruise, an opportunity to meet and mingle with like-minded Crown & Anchor Society members, and to experience exclusive events. We will be sending more information about this cruise as soon as it is open for booking in early April 2015.
