I had bought two $100 Princess Cruises Future Cruise Deposit 2 years ago, and it recently expired as we could not find any suitable cruise due to the coronavirus outbreak. In the past I would receive a check in the mail, but I wasn't sure what would happen in this extraordinary situation- would Princess even refund the money. So last Friday I sent the following email to [email protected]:
Question or Comment: Hi- I had bought 2 Future Cruise Deposits which I was forced to have expire recently since I could not find a suitable cruise to book as of yet due to the pandemic. When can I expect the deposits to be refunded? Please advise. Future Cruise Credit ID: 0567***
Today I got an email from them- this was their reply:
Good Day Mr. ****
Thank you for your patience during this time. Given the volume of refund requests and the care being dedicated to ensure each Guest’s request is processed accurately and in a coordinated manner, please allow for approximately 60 days for refunds to be processed. All refunds will be processed in due course, but delays should be anticipated. Please allow sufficient time for us to manage this process and know we are doing everything in our power to expedite where possible.
