The Norwegian Star made history on July 15 by becoming the longest vessel to ever dock at the Port of Aberdeen. Measuring 294 meters in length, the Norwegian Cruise Line ship arrived from Newhaven with 2,366 passengers on board. The visit highlighted the port's recent upgrades to its South Harbour facility, which now allows for larger cruise ships to call on the region. Shortly after the Norwegian Star docked, the AIDAsol also arrived, marking a busy day for the Scottish port. This milestone reflects the growing cruise tourism sector in north-east Scotland.
